Overview

PiPrecision supplies drawing-controlled aerospace prototypes and components under its current ISO 9001-certified quality system. Acceptance is project-specific and may include material traceability, revision control, first-article inspection, nonconformance handling, and controlled outside processes; AS9100D and NADCAP remain development targets rather than current certifications.

Current Quality Scope and Project Controls

PiPrecision currently holds ISO 9001 certification. Aerospace work is accepted only after reviewing the drawing, end use, customer approvals, documentation, special processes, and applicable legal or export requirements.

  • Material specification, heat or lot traceability, mill certificates, and approved substitutions.
  • Drawing and revision control, first-article scope, inspection plan, calibrated equipment, and record retention.
  • Nonconformance authorization, corrective action, configuration changes, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Heat treatment, NDT, welding, coating, and other special processes controlled through the agreed supplier and certificate requirements.
  • AS9102, AWS D17.1, flight hardware, turbine-part, and exotic-alloy statements apply only when explicitly reviewed and accepted for the project.

Certification Development Roadmap

AS9100D and NADCAP remain targeted standards; PiPrecision does not currently hold those certifications. Their presence in the roadmap must not be interpreted as certified status.

Customers requiring an AS9100D- or NADCAP-certified source should identify that requirement before RFQ. PiPrecision will confirm whether the project can be supported directly, through an approved external process source, or not at all.

Documented Project Examples

Results below are specific to the linked project, part, volume, process, and inspection scope. They are not universal capability guarantees.

Engineering Resources

Use these guides to prepare drawings, tolerances, finish requirements, and inspection expectations before RFQ.

Capabilities

The capabilities below are drawing-reviewed, project-specific possibilities—not blanket aerospace qualification. AWS D17.1, AS9102-format FAI, flight hardware, turbine parts, exotic alloys, and special processes are accepted only when the quotation identifies the qualified process source, inspection scope, records, and customer approvals.
